Disclaimer: The Band-Aid ® brand name is owned by the  Johnson & Johnson Companies - there is no connection between their line of products bearing the name and this website, its owner or the activities described. "Bandaid Surgery" is just one of the ways to describe, in layman terms, laparoscopic procedures. Other "Pet names" are: "key-hole surgery", "small-cut surgery" or "surgery done with the laser" - even though laser is used lately only sparingly in minimally invasive procedures.
